The SCT202 is a safety module designed for measuring safety-related rotations, supporting safety applications up to SIL2 and PLd. It offers the following I/O capabilities:
Safety Input Blocks:
Two blocks for incremental interfaces, connectable with symmetrical A/B/N tracks. The measurement results can be accessed both as frequency and counter status.
Two blocks that can be used as counter inputs (for connecting initiators) or for latch and referencing inputs.
Safety Digital Inputs:
Two digital inputs that can serve as latch or referencing inputs.
Safety Digital Outputs:
Two digital outputs that function as safety short response shutdown contacts, ideal for overspeed detection with a reaction time of ≤ 1 ms.
